My Gutter Bookshelf

Who knew?!  Inexpensive gutter makes a great bookshelf.  Well, the gutter is inexpensive, the brackets and ends add the expense, but I think it was well worth it.  The uses of this type of shelf are endless.  If you Google "gutter bookshelf" you will get a lot of ideas.

At home, putting a piece all the way up at the top of the walls makes a great place to keep stuffed animals and other toys.

Putting up a section above your diaper changing station would make it handy to keep baby wipes, powder, and other supplies in reach.

When your child is out of the climbing stage, putting these shelves at a child-reach height and adding books and a big pillow makes a wonderful Reading Corner.

Paint a section of wall with magnetic and chalkboard paint, then attach the gutter shelf to hold the supplies.

I'm sure there are hundreds of other ways you could use gutter and at around $7 for 10 feet, who can pass that up?
